Our Personalized Engraved Football is any of our fully prepped Wilson footballs, laser engraved with a name, number, or date in bold jersey-style letters. The engraving is burned into the leather, and the ball is hand-prepped to the same game-ready standard as every ball we sell. Here's what you can engrave, what it costs, and how to make sure it arrives in time.

What Is a Personalized Engraved Football?

It's a real leather game ball with a custom engraving centered just below the Wilson logo, the same spot Wilson uses for its own custom balls. Because the engraving is burned into the leather instead of printed on top, it won't peel, crack, or rub off. It stays crisp through prep, practice, and game day.

You can engrave:

  • Line 1 (required): up to 10 characters, like a name or a name and number.
  • Line 2 (optional): up to 12 characters, like a date, a team, or an occasion.
  • Letters, numbers, spaces, and a few symbols (# & . ' -), in bold jersey-style block letters.

Want a logo, color-filled text, or a color logo? It may be possible, but every design is different, so contact us before ordering. Logos need permission from the logo's owner and an EPS file.

  • Check your spelling. You'll confirm it before checkout, because the engraving can't be changed once it's done.
  • Check out securely with Square. Pick the same ball at checkout and use the same email so we can match your engraving to your order.

Each ball is laser engraved and then hand-prepped through our 12-step process, so it ships in 1–3 weeks. You get a tracking number as soon as it's on the way.
