Custom color footballs let a player or a team show their colors on the one piece of equipment everyone watches. Our Fully Prepped Wilson GST Custom Color is the Wilson GST Color Game Football, a real leather game ball with colored laces and logo foil, and it gets the same full hand prep as every other ball we sell. Here's what the colors are, who they're great for, and what to know before you order.
What Is the Wilson GST Color Game Football?
It's the official-size Wilson GST, the classic quarterback's ball, with laces and logo foil in one of five colors instead of the standard look. The leather, the size, and the feel are the GST you already know. The color is the part that makes it yours.
Fully prepped, it's $200. You choose the color at checkout from:
- Royal Blue
- Red
- Green
- Yellow
- Pink
Not sure the GST is the right ball for you? Our guide to the best footballs for quarterbacks compares it with the Omega, The Duke, and the Nike Vapor Elite.
Who Custom Color Footballs Are For
- Players who want to rep their school. Pick the color that matches your team and throw a ball that looks like it belongs to your program.
- Gifts. A ball in a player's team colors is a gift they'll actually use. It's one of our picks in the football gift guide.
- Senior night, milestones, and keepsakes. A colored game ball stands out on a shelf, and it's still a real ball you can throw.
- Coaches and team parents. Want team colors for a whole group? See ordering for teams below.
The Same Full Prep as Every Ball
The color doesn't change the prep. Every Custom Color GST goes through our 12-step process, done by hand with 3 days of drying and setting time. The factory coating is brushed off, the leather is conditioned, Lena Blackburne rubbing mud is worked into every panel, and the ball is sealed with mink oil and finished with Wilson wax buffed into the grain. Every ball is grip-tested by hand before it ships, so it shows up ready to throw. See what goes into every ball.
What to Know Before You Order
- It's made to order. Because each one is a custom ball, it may take up to 2 weeks to ship. You'll get a tracking number as soon as it's on the way.
- Shipping is chosen at checkout: USPS Ground Advantage $10 (1–5 business days), Priority Mail $15 (2–3 business days), or Priority Mail Express $60 (overnight).
- No returns or refunds. Custom Color balls are made to order, so they can't be returned or refunded. If something's wrong with the prep or the ball arrives damaged, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we'll re-prep it or replace it. See our policies.
- Plan ahead for a date. If you need it for a birthday, a holiday, or a big game, order early so the up-to-2-week ship time plus shipping fits your timeline.
