About This Ball
The Wilson GST Color Game Football, fully prepped by hand. Choose Royal Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, or Pink laces and logo foil — match your team colors — and get the same full prep as our classic GST.
Our full preparation process enhances grip, softens the leather, and brings out the signature tackiness players expect from a properly broken-in GST — without compromising durability or shape. The result is a football with superior control, consistent flight, and reliable handling in all conditions.
Our Prep Process
- Factory wax removed — the slick coating that makes new leather feel like a "slick brick" is stripped off.
- Lena Blackburne rubbing mud — worked into the pebbling to build real grip.
- Horsehair brushing — opens up the grain and raises the tack.
- Conditioned — softens the leather for a broken-in feel.
- Sealed — with a Wilson wax bar so the prep lasts.
- Hand grip test — every ball is checked by hand before it ships. Not right? It gets redone.
